Transfer learning based method, which utilizes plenty labeled data in the source domain to build an accuracy classifier for the target domain, serves as an effective means in the epileptic detection by using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Among existing approaches, Fuzzy logic system (FLS) based on transductive transfer learning is an efficient method due to its superior interpretability and...
Caching popular contents at helpers and users can offload the traffic from base stations by the helper transmission or device-to-device (D2D) transmission. In this paper, we investigate the effect of user mobility on the offloading probability for D2D assisted wireless caching systems. Specifically, we model the mobility pattern of users as the contact time and connect frequency between different...
MILS (Multiple Independent Levels of Security) is a high-assurance architecture that protect different security levels information sharing. In order to provide guarantee for a variety of information sharing security, MILS allow software components that have multiple security levels or multiple data domain to run on a single processor. But in specific applications, in order to achieve multiple information...
The detection of fastener defects is an important task in railway inspection systems, and it is frequently performed to ensure the safety of train traffic. Traditional inspection is usually operated by trained workers who walk along railway lines to search for potential risks. However, the manual inspection is very slow, costly, and dangerous. This paper proposes an automatic visual inspection system...
Image segmentation can be viewed as the problem of topic assignment, in which pixels are grouped into regions with respect to the topic model of textures and real-world semantic meanings. In this paper, we apply a novel hierarchical topic model, which builds a multi-level image representation covers texture and semantic region, to image segmentation. Specifically, the proposed method firstly assigns...
Artificial neural networks are nonlinear dynamic systems which are constituted of abundant simple processing unites, their characteristics include parallel computing, memory distributing, self-learning and self-organization, etc. They are used to solve many artificial intelligence problems that are very difficult or impossible to be solved by traditional computer. Based on theory of the semiconductor...
This paper deals with computation of the dielectric constant of BaTiO3 composites according to two computation models. The results showed that the dielectric constant epsiv of materials increases with volume of BaTiO3, which is as same as that reported. At same time, the mediate phase was proved to exist between BaTiO3 and polymer. It indicates that the mediate phase computation model is rational.
