Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have attracted much research attentions in the recent years. Although there are many outstanding solutions of geographic routing designed for the VANETs, only one or two features of the VANETs have been specifically utilized in each of the proposed solutions. In this paper, we propose a novel adaptive fuzzy multiple attribute decision routing (AFMADR) scheme, by...
With the wide development of mobile Internet, Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) have attracted more and more research attentions. In this paper, we address the routing issue in the VANETs from a new point of view although there are many outstanding solutions available. Considering a vehicle as a decision maker in the selecting next hop for the transmission from the candidate vehicles, we propose...
A new Contending Burst Copying based Reflection Routing (CBCRR) scheme is proposed in the paper. When burst contention arises, the core nodes copy the contending burst and send the copied bursts to neighbor nodes. After receiving the copied burst, neighbor node reflects it to the core node for reserving wavelength again. Simulation results show that CBCRR outperforms the existing schemes.
