The fiber nonlinearity impairments in 40Gb/s CO-OFDM are post-compensated by fiber nonlinearity post-compensation (FNPC) located before the receiver, which includes spectrum inversion (SI) and a subsequent 80km compensation high nonlinear fiber (HNLF).
