A novel all-solid-state potassium ion-selective electrode using graphene as the solid-contact layer was developed. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and reversed chronopotentiometry were employed to characterize the ion-to-electron transducing ability of graphene. The new electrode exhibited a Nernstian response of 58.4mV/decade and a low detection limit of 10 −6.2 M. Potentiometric water...
