Bezpieczeństwo systemu elektroenergetycznego (SEE) w dużym stopniu zależy od skuteczności układów zabezpieczeń, automatyki i sterowania w normalnych i awaryjnych warunkach pracy.
The security of the power system largely depends on the effectiveness of protection, automation and control systems in normal and faulty operating conditions. SEE is currently undergoing a transformation process from digital protections containing a limited amount of binary information to intelligent multi- -functional IEDs exchanging data packets with each other through communication networks. This situation brings the need to change thinking and habits in the context of PAC configuration and testing. The article attempts to present the methods of measuring and testing PAC systems using the IEC 61850 standard. These methods can be used at any stage: from solution creation, through engineering work at the station, commissioning, FAT and SAT tests as well as during normal operation and as part of the work service. In addition, selected results of tests carried out have been presented, which will allow to understand the operation of these systems, learn their specificity and character.
