The rovibrational spectrum of 2ν 9 band of CD 3 CCH is overlapped by two prominent hot bands identified as (2ν 9 0 +ν 1 0 + /- 1 )(E)<-ν 1 0 + /- 1 (E) and 3ν 9 + /- 1 (E)<-ν 9 + /- 1 (E), where ν 1 0 and ν 9 are the degenerate C C C and C C H bending fundamental vibrations, respectively. Assignment of lines to the transitions of these hot bands were carried out with the help of the high-resolution spectra recorded at ~195K and at room temperature. Molecular parameters for these hot bands have been obtained from the rotational analysis of the partially resolved K-structure lines. Only Q-head of the third hot band (2ν 9 +2ν 1 0 )<-2ν 1 0 , originating from the lower 2ν 1 0 state could be identified.
