BACKGROUND: The radiological imaging technology evolution rhythm is the most rapid among all allied sciences absolutely, so the concern over Imaging has radically changed through the latest computer and imaging technologies applications. The role of radiology technologists and Radiographers was fully transformed concerning to this evolution. So the knowledge and skills development are urgent needs, to obtain and make high quality informed decision considering the quality and technical factors for diagnostic radiological imaging. The layout of Evidence-Based Practice Radiologic Technology (EBPRT) is very limited. So this study will serve as a fascinating golden key to enter the gate of Continuous Professional Development (C.P.D) in all radiological sciences and imaging technologies, and serving instructors, students' and radiology technologists. Our knowledge acts as a backbone and broad base, when it will be applied well on training and daily practice. OBJECTIVES: To highlight the efficiency of Evidenced-Based Practice Radiologic Technology (EBPRT) as teaching method that let our student's being creative and critical thinker's and continue self-directed learning, to elucidate the role of (EBPRT) when it will be added and enforced in the curriculum and how the usage of this recent strategy can best translate to radio logic science educational programs and improving the radiology courses knowledge and skills learning outcomes and act as a mean for Continuous Professional Development. SETTING & DESIGN: A prospective, descriptive analytical study was conducted in King Fahad Medical City - Riyadh-KSA, during the 3rd Saudi Radiological Technologists Conference April 2012. MATERIAL & METHODS: The study participants were radiology technologists and radiological sciences teachers. A well designed questionnaire was distributed among 200 participants and due to poor background about the EBPRT, I explained and clarified to them in separate groups the meaning and concept of EBPRT and the goal of this study and the contents of the Questionnaire which compose of five sections. The Data collected as feedback analysis was performed using SPSS statistical software. CONCLUSION: Evidenced-Based Practice Radiologic Technology (EBPRT) is an effective teaching method which integrate research, education and delivery of high quality healthcare, it should be used in Radiological Sciences Education, Training, Continuous Professional Development and Daily Practice.
