This paper provides regarding current Codes of the fire resistance for a building in Mongolia and comparison between ?urocode EN 1992-1-2:2004 and Mongolian code which are followed currently.
A new era of nuclear energy is emerging through innovative nuclear reactors that are to satisfy the new philosophies and criteria that are being developed by the INPRO program of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). It is establishing a new paradigm in relation to nuclear energy. The future reactors should meet the new standards in respect to safety, economy, non-proliferation, nuclear waste,...
Phenomenons such as ??swell?? exist in storing and transporting of packagings of air conditioners, which affect the safety of the packaging stacks and the product image. According to this, researches were taken out on aspects affecting the resistance capacity of boxes such as environment, material of boxes, and box structure design. By combining method of both design and experiments, we tested the...
This paper presents a structural health monitoring system for monitoring, with reduced visual impact, one historical building structure. The system is based on fiber Bragg gratings and comprises 19 displacement sensors and 5 temperature sensors. All the sensors were custom made according to the monitoring points' characteristics. The results obtained over the first year of monitoring are presented...
We present the use of swept wavelength interferometry for distributed fiber-optic temperature measurements in a nuclear reactor. The sensors consisted of 2-m segments of commercially available, single mode optical fibers. The interrogation technique is based on measuring the spectral shift of the intrinsic Rayleigh backscatter signal along the optical fiber and converting the spectral shift to temperature.
Deformation of Bi2Te3-based materials was performed. The source disks with nominal compositions of (Bi0.25Sb0.75)2Te3, (Bi0.25Sb0.75)2(Te0.95Se0.05)3 and (Bi0.90Sb0.10)2(Te0.95Se0.05)3 were cut from the ingots grown by the vertical Bridgman method (VBM). The disks were deformed by either cold press (CP) or pressure current heating (PCH). The crystal structures of the deformed materials were identified...
