Przeanalizowano skalę i przebieg zmienności cen skupu, hurtowych i detalicznych na krajowym rynku owoców. Wykorzystano dane dotyczące średniorocznych cen jabłek, truskawek, wiśni i śliwek.
The paper examines the scale and course of variability of procurement, wholesale and retail prices on the Polish fruit market. The study applies the mid-year prices of apples, strawberries, cherries and plums. The price variability description uses the descriptive statistic including the range of variable, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation. The trend and changes in price variability are indicated by line trend and chain and fixed base indexes. The analysis of empirical data shows that prices of all analyzed fruits were growing between 2002 and 2012. Prices at the different distribution levels show a considerable price variability from year to year, but retail prices are most, in general.
