Reconstructive Spectrometer by Inverse Design
In article number 2301107, Shilong Pan and co‐workers present an exciting advancement in the field of integrated spectrometers by developing a novel and reliable inverse design methodology to tackle the design difficulties associated with reconstructive spectrometers. The authors demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach by implementing a reconstructive spectrometer consisting of stratified waveguide filters on silicon nitride platform. The optimized performance brought by this approach makes the reconstructive spectrometer a promising candidate for various applications including healthcare monitoring, food safety management etc.
