Undiagnosed diabetes has particularly harmful consequences among women of reproductive age. We assessed the prevalence of undiagnosed diabetes among non-pregnant women of reproductive age. In our data 30 women had A1C≥6.5 and 28 had FPG≥126mg/dl values suggesting approximately 300,000 women of reproductive age nationwide may have undiagnosed diabetes.
