In this paper, we consider the problem of removing outliers from phase measurements in phase of arrival (POA) based localization, applied for the landslide monitoring. Our approach adopts so called cumulative residues and recursively removing outliers. The simulation results show that the proposed method has successfully removed outliers.
In our previous study, we proposed a landslide monitoring system using a phase difference in the 920-MHz-band radio waves and experimentally confirmed that the positioning accuracy is of the order of millimeters. However, the experiments were not carried out on a real slope. In this paper, we report the experimental results of landside monitoring on a slope with tall vegetation.
