We consider the resonant generation of an electron–positron pair by two polarized photons to arbitrarily low Landau levels. The resonance occurs when the energy of one photon exceeds the one-photon generation threshold, and the energy of the other photon is multiple to the spacing between the levels. The cross section of the process is determined taking into account the spins of particles. The order...
The process of photon emission, that accompany photon pair production in strong magnetic field has been studied in nonresonant case. Angle dependence and dependence on final photon polarization are analyzed for this process. Total probability for the nonresonant process of photon emission 106 s-1 is three order of magnitude less, than resonant one.
Influence of spin-polarization effects on the intensity of synchrotron emission from magnetized electron-positron plasma is discussed. In the plasma generated by pair production spin states have polarization-dependent spin bias, whereas in the case of thermodynamical preparation of spin states they are equally populated. It is shown, that radiation intensities from polarized and unpolarized particles...
