A new 2,3-dihydro-2,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-4H-pyran-4-one (DDMP)-conjugated saponin, lablab saponin I, was isolated from the hypocotyl of hyacinth bean (Dolichos lablab). The structure and synthesis of the first dimeric proteracacinidins from acacia galpinii

The first two proteracacinidin dimers were isolated from the heartwood of Acacia galpinii. Epioritin-4α-ol under mild acidic conditions yielded epioritin-(4β → 6)-epioritin-4α-ol and epioritin (4β → 6)-epioritin-4β-ol, confirming the structures of the two isolated dimers.
